A Kiralyno Audience Choice Winner is Miss Earth Hungary
21 May 09 -- Kocsis Korinna was crowned Miss Hungary Earth in the A Kiralyno Beauty Pageant 2009 held today at the headquarter of RTL Klub Channel in Budapest.
Kocsis is 18 years old, stands 173 cm and measures 86/64/92cm. She also won the Audience Choice Award.
23 candidates competed in the pageant. A controversy tainted the pageant when Papp Zsófia making up the 24th candidate has to leave the training camp due to her half-naked photos found on the net. She is considered earlier to have a good chance of landing the Top 5. Zsófia was 18 years old then. She said that she thinks totally different now from 6 years ago, but she accepted the organization's decision. At the onset of the pageant, the delegates are required to sign an initial contract that declares that they did not appear in public with such images. The case is not unique as this already happened with 1991 Miss Hungary Valentine Antóniától.
The other winners are Serdült Orsolya (Miss World) and Budai Zsuzsa (Miss Universe). Completing the finalists were Wink Adrienn, Halász Beatrix, Ágoston Dóra and Kávássy Leila.(WE)
