We will not Rest until the Crown is brought to Puerto Rico

15 May 2009 -- Well-known designers Adam Hernandes and Jose Alfredo Cartagena, owner of Royal Beauty Organization Inc., (RBOI) continue to explore the fertile ground for Puerto Rican beauties with the acquisition of an important franchise of Miss Earth Puerto Rico (MEPR).
The new commission comes after debating for six months with other six proposals by individuals and organizations who were very interested in the franchise.
The Executive Director of Miss Earth Foundation, Inc., Catherine Untalan, and the present queen Miss Earth 2008, Karla Henry from the Philippines visited the couturiers in Miami to announce that they had been chosen for this important task.
Miss Earth beauty pageant combines beauty combined with intelligence, confidence and elegance. The winners and participants are working to promote environmental causes. In its nine years of existence, the competition has achieved close caliber to Miss Universe and Miss World. Therefore, has solicited very competitive entry of contestants.
"We are delighted with this challenge. We are very happy to be the directors of Miss Earth and two other franchises. Aware of the potential of Puerto Rico in terms of beauty and talent, we will not rest until these crowns are brought to the island. These pageants are of great importance internationally and we promise to work tirelessly to keep Puerto Rico’s beauties reputable as they have always been,” Adam shared.

The owners of these pageants are currently in meeting with one of the most important TV Channels in Puerto Rico for the transmission of their first MEPR, as communicated with WomanoftheEarth.Tv. “The TV Channel Director and RBOI agreed that the best timing to hold the first Miss Earth is between the months of March and April. This will give us time to gather as much events as possible and also to have a great agenda for the contestants. We are planning to have 78 girls, one from each city, including the small island of Vieques,” according to Adam.
The current owners received numerous well-wishers especially after the reported not-so-pleasant accommodation of the nation’s previous franchisee. A lot are glad that the contests fell onto the hand of people recognized as fashion czars who very interested and hard working.
