Other Highlights in Last Night's Dress Rehearsal
08 Nov 08 -- Firstly, I would like to thank my beloved posters and pageant fans for your constructive and objective posts. As you all may know, the members of WE website don't tolerate such malicious and negative remarks. We're just here to give you details of the pageant and give honest opinion in some issues that we would like to share it to you.

Secondly, a big thank you to Marvin for contributing last night's pics. He and I truly had a blast.
Some attendees last night were the int'l press people of Miss Switzerland, parents of Miss Israel, brother of Miss Scotland, National Director of Miss Italy, Greece, African Continent and among others

I had the privilege of meeting the national director of Miss Kosovo by the name of Agnesa Vuthaj. Does it ring a bell to you pageant fans out there? Yes you guessed it right. She was a former beauty pageant contender herself. She joined Miss Universe 2005 held in Thailand. But prior to that she represented Albania in Miss World 2004. I tell you what guys, the moment I saw her entering the amphitheatre. I thought she looked like Ali Landry (Miss USA 96). I approached her and we had a small talk, you know the whole nine yards.

I also encourage them to browse the WE website and forum. Explained also how we came about with the selection of top 16 and stff.

As for the opening number, the following delegates who really rocked the stage: Philippines, Costa Rica, Mexico, South Sudan (there is something in her that spells magic). She did really outshined some delegates. Colombia, Australia and Brazil ( my personal favorite to win the crown among the Latinas.

Well I guess you have already your respective bets for the crown. Remember always my friends. Not all beautiful in your eyes are beautiful. Don't say I didn't warn you. As I was the thread starter of ...Some disappointments...few days ago, some of your favorites may not win it all, maybe the judges thought otherwise. Let's wait and see...
Happy Pageantry!
See you all guys tonight
Jonas Uy, WE
