COUNTRY RANKING:>15 NATIONAL ORGANIZER:Miss Earth France Can you describe yourself, your background and the place where you are from? I am an open-minded person. My friends said that I'm kind and natural. I enjoy everyday life and my passions are nature, astronomy and dancing. I have good experiences in beauty pageants. During my childhood, I travelled around the world. Hence, I was able to witness different cultures, people and landscapes which make me proud of our planet. I am now very much willing to dedicate my life for its protection. I live in a little town in a green and rainy region in the east of the France but its inhabitants are very hospitable. What are your preparations for the upcoming Miss Earth? I go to the gym to tone my body and I work a lot about my environmental project. In your daily life, how are you able to practice environmental awareness? First of all it is my job and I often teach children at school about Ecology. But at home I try to reduce consumption of energy and water which is so precious. I also use eco-friendly bags. I prefer to walk instead of driving my car. I also recycle things that I can. Technology, what's your take on this for the environment? Positive or Negative? Technology is indispensable to progress and for protection of the environment but we must also be able to practice moderation because technology can be dangerous too. How important is winning the Miss Earth crown to you? Why? It is important for me to win the Miss Earth Crown because this pageant combines two major aspects of my life i.e., my studies in Ecology Biology and my passion for world of beauty. This crown will allow me to apply my knowledge in environment and have a more important impact on the population to save our Mother Earth. Do you think that Miss Earth has achieved its goal of spreading environmental awareness? Explain. Miss Earth has realised a good part of its goal but we must keep on continuing its mission to invite the greater part of the population to join the cause. We live together on the same Earth. It is impossible to achieve this mission if we are not united. There are sectors that say, global climate change is a hoax. What is your opinion on this? I think that global climate is changing but it is the normal cycle of a planet. During milleniums, the earth has also known ice and warming periods. Certainly, human race contribute to hasten global warming but he is not totally responsible for it. However, he can help minimize/slow down the problem. Any message to Woman of the Earth? Thanks for your support and for giving me a chance to tell about my environmental project which consists of protecting the ocean and its biodiversity. I chose this project because human has destroyed a good part of the land and he is actually doing the same thing with the seas. Moreover, oceans regulate the earth's temperature which is indispensable to our survival.
