LIBERVILLE, GABON.  Marlyne Lea Ayenne, who was crowned Miss Gabon 2009 in December 2008, becomes the first reigning Miss Gabon to represent her country to the international Miss Earth 2009 beauty pageant. This information was confirmed by Maria Bayu of Beauties of Africa Inc., the sponsor responsible of sending the winner of Miss Gabon 2009 to the Miss Earth beauty pageant. The second runner-up of Miss Gabon 2009 contest, Cynthia Mboumba was earlier reported to represent Gabon to Miss Earth 2009; she will now represent Gabon in the Miss International 2009 contest.
