Valerie Lim was crowned Miss Earth Singapore 2009 last night 17 September 2009. Valerie is 24 years old and stands 1.79m. She works as a Program Specialist. Her runner ups are Deborah Chan, Nur Amira and Stella Zheng. 
                 On her profile at the Miss Earth Singapore Site she said that, "Mother Earth has given us a beautiful home with gorgeous flora and fauna. Now it's time for us to give back. Let's do our part to help Mother Earth preserve her beauty." Valerie Lim will join the other Miss Earth delegates to compete in the finals to be held in Boracay, Philippines on November 22.
